Three Gamblers Arrested in Bandi-Bala Chandoosa ,Stake Money Seized.

Srinagar, 28 April (CNI): Jammu and Kashmir police of Chandoosa Baramulla continuing its drive against social crimes and claimed to have arrested three gamblers from Bandi-Bala Chandoosa area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and recovered stake money of 13140 and playing cards from the spot.

Officials told News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that the Police party of Police Station Chandoosa on specific information regarding the presence of gamblers in Bandi Bala forests.

Acting upon the information police party rushed towards the spot.
On seeing the police party they tried to flee from the spot but we were apprehended tactfully.

The arrested gamblers were identified as Maqsood Ahmad Beigh S/O Saifullah Beigh R/O Sultanpora, Ab Hameed Ganie S/O Ghulam Qadir R/O Rajpora, Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh S/O Ghulam Hassan R/O Dudbugh Chandoosa.

The fourth gambler was identified as Ab Majeed Sheikh S/O Ab Jabbar Sheikh R/O Dudbugh but he fled from the spot and efforts are on to nab him.

Playing cards along with stake money of ₹ 13,140/- was recovered from them.

The case under sections of 13 Gambling Act was registered in Police Station Chandoosa and further investigation has been taken up in this regard. (CNI)
