- From 04-02-2024, 1700 hrs. to 05-02-2024, 1700 hrs., Jammu-Srinagar NHW remained blocked for 02 hrs. 40 mins. due to road maintenance work at Dalwas. Slow movement was observed on NH-44 due to breakdown of 02 HMVs, poor surface condition of road at Dalwas , Mehar , Hingani, Sherbibi and single lane traffic at Kishtwari Pather and Hingani between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.
2. To ensure safety of general populace/travellers /drivers, NHAI has been directed by the District Magistrate Ramban vide order no. ADMR/2028-38 dated 05-02-2024 for widening of road at Kishtwari Pather and Dalwas, as a result traffic will remain suspended between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel tomorrow on 06-02-2024 (Tuesday) from 0800 hrs to 07-02-2024 (Wednesday) 0800 hrs. People are advised to avoid journey on Jammu Srinagar NHW between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel tomorrow on 06-02-2024 (Tuesday) from 0800 hrs to 07-02-2024 (Wednesday) 0800 hrs and plan their journey accordingly.
TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 06-02-2024:-
No vehicular movement shall be allowed on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) from Nashri towards NAVYUG Tunnel and vice versa in view of widening of road at Kishtwari Pather and Dalwas. People are advised to avoid journey on Jammu Srinagar NHW tomorrow.
