Security arrangements and patrolling measures reviewed for Pahalgam route:RP Singh

 

Srinagar, 25 June:(CNI) In preparation for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Rural Kashmir Ravinder Pal Singh reviewed security arrangements on Tuesday at Pahalgam area in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

 

As per News Agency Current News Of India (CNI) SSP RP Singh, along with DYSPs and DTIs officers deployed for the Pahalgam route, examined plans formulated by local police officials for coordinated security efforts.

 

He emphasized the safe movement of pilgrims as a top priority and reviewed the deployment of road opening parties. Vigilant patrolling and monitoring along highways will be crucial for ensuring a smooth yatra.

 

Effective traffic management is essential for the annual pilgrimage, and officers are committed to facilitating a seamless and secure journey for devotees.

 

RP Singh expressed confidence in the police’s ability to provide a safe environment for pilgrims undertaking their spiritual journey.(CNI)
