Traffic Police Rural Kashmir Issues Traffic Advisory For 11 Muharram

 Srinagar, : Traffic Police Rural Kashmir issues Traffic advisory in view of Muharram procession at Magam on 11th Muharram (18th of July- 2024), the movement of vehicular traffic along Srinagar-Gulmarg road shall remain affected, as such motorists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel on said road on said date. However, during procession traffic shall be diverted through different routes.

 

As per traffic advisory, a copy of order of the same laid in the office of News agency Current News of India (CNI) on the same day Beerwah bound traffic coming from Narbal shall be diverted at Kanihama chowk via Batapora, Roshanabad bridge, SK Pora and Rudbugh Beerwah.

 

Meanwhile Gulmarg-Tangmarg Kunzar bound traffic coming from Narbal shall be diverted at Kanihama via Railway Station Mazhama-Nooripora-Archinderhama- Gund Khawaja Qasim- Kogamdara- Ahmadpora towards Chilchlora, to Gulmarg-Tangmarg road. As per advisory Srinagar bound traffic from Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Chichlora via Kralpora, Magam-Ahmad pora- Kongamdara – Singhpora (NHW). Whereas Beerwah bound traffic from Tangmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Chichlora via Goigam, Budran-Beerwah. At the same time Srinagar bound traffic from Beerwah shall be diverted at Watamagam Crossing via Watamagam-Pethkanihama- Batapora- Bon-Kanihama. Meanwhile Tangmarg-Gulmarg- Kunzar bound traffic from Beerwah shall be diverted at Budran crossing via Budran-Goigam link road from Watamagam crossing up to Batapora chowk. (CNI)
