Srinagar, CNI: In view of Muharram procession on 25Th of Moharram, Traffic Police Rural Kashmir Issues Traffic Advisory. An order (Copy of which is laid in the office of CNI) issued by Ravinder Pal Singh JKPS Sr. Superintendent of Police Traffic Rural Kashmir about the vehicular movement on different routes for 25Th Moharram.

As per this order the vehicular movement from Harthrat to Narbal along Srinagar-Baramulla highway shall remain affected on 25th Muharram (01 August-2024), as such motorists are advised to avoid unnecessary movement on said road during instant Muharram procession.

However, in order to ensure hindrance free movement of vehicular traffic during procession is taken out on road, the Srinagar bound vehicles from Kupwara, Handwara, Sopore shall be allowed via Hygam Sumbal HMT Srinagar.

Meanwhile, Srinagar bound vehicles from Baramulla / Uri shall be allowed via Hamrey Gate Pattan Sumbal HMT Srinagar.

At the same time Srinagar bound vehicles from Hamrey, Pattan shall be allowed via Harthrath Bridge Khanpath Shadipora HMT Srinagar.

During the procession, North Kashmir bound HMVs shall be allowed via Narbal Magam Kungumdara Khore Hanjiwera Pattan and North Kashmir bound LMVs shall be allowed via Narbal Kanihama Nooripora Archanderhama Gund Khoja Qasim Jeel Bridge Pattan. CNI
