Two Drug Smugglers Arrested in Baramulla

Baramulla Police on Friday claimed to have arrested 2 Drug smugglers alongwith 105 grams of contraband Charas like substance & 40 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon Capsules during naka checking at Zandfaran Sheeri & Palhallan Morh areas of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

In a statement issued here to News-agency Current News (CNI) a police spokesperson said that at Kachwa Chandoosa near Petrol pump, Police under the supervision of Sh Mohd Nawaz-JKPS, SDPO Pattan assisted by PSI Aeraf Niyaz IC PP Palhallan arrested Drug smuggler namely Mudasir Ahmad Wani S/O Manzoor Ahmad Wani R/O Raipora Palhallan during naka checking at Palhallan Morh, who was coming towards Palhallan and after noticing the police party tried to flee away but was apprehended tactfully and was taken into custody immediately.

During search of the vehicle 145 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from his possession.

At Zandfaran Sheeri: Police under the supervision of Sh Altaf Ahmad-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by Inspr Mudasir Nazar SHO PS Sheeri arrested Drug smuggler namely Waseem Ahmad Sheikh S/O Abdul Majeed Sheikh R/O Heewan during naka checking at Zandfaran Sheeri, who was roaming in the area and after noticing the police party tried to flee away but was apprehended tactfully and was taken into custody immediately.

During search of the vehicle 56 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon was recovered from him possession.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Sheeri & Pattan and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.(CNI)
