Baramulla, 06 July (CNI): Two eve-teasers were arrested by Baramulla Police for allegedly stalking and harassing a girl at Zanana Park Khawajabagh Baramulla.
As per the statement issued here to News-agency Current News of India (CNI) Police Station Baramulla received written complaint from one person (name withheld) to the effect that two persons namely Aqib Salam Bhat @Ponty S/O Abdul Salam Bhat & Yasir Ahmad Bhat S/O Fayaz Ahmad Bhat both residents of Fatehpora Baramulla molested one girl (name withheld) at Zanana Park Khawajabagh and fled from the spot after the commission of crime.
Acting upon the complaint, Police registered a case FIR under relevant sections in Police Station Baramulla and investigation was started.
Baramulla Police led by Inspr Vilayat Hussain SHO PS Baramulla under the supervision of Sh Altaf Ahmad-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla after strenuous efforts both Eve teasers were arrested and were taken into custody immediately.
Further investigation, of the case is going on.
