In a shocking incident, the two sisters drowned to death in a canal Jammu area on Thursday evening.
Officials said that two sisters, aged 3 and 5 years, drowned to death in the canal in Digiana area of Jammu district.
They said that both went missing in Digiana area last evening, following which a search operation was launched.
The bodies of both sisters were recovered after the hectic efforts of NDRF, SDRF and Jammu police.
Bodies will be handed out to families after the completion of medico-legal formalities. (CNI)
