Pattan, 06 May (CNI) : Pattan Police on saturday seized 02 tippers and arrests 02 persons for illegal excavation & transportation of minerals in Khanpeth Singhpora Pattan area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per the statement, issued here to News agency-Current News of India (CNI) that reads Police under the supervision of Mohd Nawaz-JKPS SDPO Pattan assisted by PSI Zilal Ahmad, IC PP Mirgund seized 2 Tippers & arrested 2 drivers namely Mohammad Afzal Dar S/O Gh Ahmad Dar R/O Dusslipora and Idrees Hussain Rather S/O Mohd Ramzan Rather R/O Gagarpora Magam at Khanpeth Mirgund who were found involved in illegal excavation/ transportation of minerals.
Meanwhile, a Case FIR under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Pattan and further investigation set in motion.(CNI)
