Two Residential Houses Gutted in Kupwara Fire Mishap

Kupwara, 05 June (CNI): Two residential houses gutted in a fire mishap in Dobvan Kachma village in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district during the intervening night of Sunday-Monday.

Reports reaching News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that a fire broke out in one of the house and soon engulfed to the nearby house during the intervening night of of Sunday-Monday.

Soon after noticing the flames local Neighbours rushed out of their houses and called fire and emergency department.

In the meantime, fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames with the help of locals and Jammu and Kashmir Police but couldn’t save the property worth lakhs of rupees .

An official also confirmed this fire mishap and said that property worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes, the cause of fire was not known immediately, he adds. (CNI)
