Wild animals have spread fear and terror in the north and south of the valley.

An elderly person was injured in a bear attack in Kupwara, while in Ashmaqam Anantnag, a bear entered a village during the night and killed a cow. .

According to CNI, a bear attacked a person Muhammad Yusuf Mir in Khorhama Lulab in Kupwara border district of North Kashmir and seriously injured him, who was rushed to a nearby hospital. While, a bear has entered the village of a man Manzoor Ahmed Hijam in Anantnag area and attacked a cow during the night and killed it.

It has been learned that Manzoor Ahmed, who is a laborer by profession, recently brought this cow for Rs 100,000.

Local people said that human lives are also in danger due to free movement of wild animals in the area. They have appealed to the wildlife department to take action to catch the wild animals.(CNI)
